Jetton Cove entrepreneurs strut their stuff at Kids Bazaar

July 1. Kids in the Jetton Cove neighborhood gathered to share their businesses, have fun and make some money on June 26

Organized by parent Kay Fisher, the Kids Bazaar at the Jetton Cove Community Pool netted $200 for the young entrepreneurs in two hours.

Fisher came up with the idea to have a central and safe location where young people could gather to promote any kind of kid business.  “For instance, our house is somewhat tucked away in the neighborhood so our kids would get little traffic if they did a lemonade stand at our house unless they set up on a corner or someone else’s house,” she said in an email.

Business owners were kids ages 5-14 who live in Jetton Cove. The vendors included: Judges Lemonade and Bake Stand, Argentas Ornament and Magnet Shop, Anderson Custom Jewelry,  Porter Jetton Cove Concierge and Babysitting, Siler T-Shirt Tie Dye and Rock Painting, Siler Baseball Game, Whiteside Custom Key Chains, and Fisher Mini Games.
