MCDONALD

Mrs. Janette Jackson McDonald, 75, of Huntersville, NC  died Sunday May 17, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center.  Born September 24, 1939 in Lancaster, SC she was a daughter of the late Orin F. Jackson and Clara Baker Jackson. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, loved spending time with her family and was very involved at Hopewell Presbyterian Church.  She was a loving person who never met a stranger and saw the best in everyone.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Hopewell Presbyterian Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friendsTuesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Charles Ronald McDonald; son, Tim McDonald and wife, Tonja of Huntersville; daughter, Jan Jones of Huntersville; brothers, Jr. Jackson  and Tommy Jackson and wife Edna; sister, Carolyn Skidmore; grandchildren, Meagan McDonald and Hannah Jones as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Jackson.
