The 2025 property tax bill on a Cornelius home valued at $500,000 will be $3,281.
Details
—The county tax rate goes up by one cent, to .4831. That amounts to a county tax bill of $2,415 for a home valued at $500,000.
—The town rate is the same as last year, or .1731. That amounts to a tax bill of $865 for a home valued at $500,000.
