April 6. By Dave Vieser. Carolina Springs Auto Spa on West Catawba Avenue is seeking town approval to expand their car detailing section. A public hearing will be scheduled in the near future to consider the request.

Although the business already has conditional zoning, the permit was obtained years ago and prevents the owner from expanding their business northward, closer to adjacent residentially zoned land.

What it means is Carolina Springs needs an updated zoning approval from the Town Board, according to Deputy Town Manager Wayne Herron. No date has been set.
