April 28. The 6-week Mayors’ Fitness Challenge is over and the Top 3 winners are Huntersville, Davidson and Cornelius. Not that anyone came in last, but it looks like Cornelius scored a strong 3rd in total participants, total minutes and average minutes per participant.

The challenge ran six weeks.

The town with the highest average active minutes per participant—Huntersville came in first in every category—landed the Fittest Community honors.

The other categories were total participants and total minutes.
