July 13. During the first week of August, Huntersville Parks & Recreation is partnering with the Police Department, Huntersville Fire and Huntersville Presbyterian Church to offer a full week of fun activities for all ages.

It’s called “Huntersville Week of Fun – Something for Everyone.”

Here’s the schedule:

—Move It Monday, Aug. 1, 10 – 11 am: Move, groove, and get your blood
flowing at Veterans Park.

—Teen Throwback Tuesday, Aug.. 2, 5:30 – 11 pm: Designed for teens, Heroes in a Half Shell Battle of the Bands, and end the night eating pizza and popcorn while watching “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” at Veterans Park. Bands play 5:30 – 8:30 pm; movie starts at 9 pm.

—Water Wednesday, Aug. 3, 6 – 7 pm: Waterplay at Waymer Park.

–Take a Trip Thursday, Aug. 4, 10 am: A scavenger hunt that will start at
Rosedale Nature Preserve and end at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library – North County
Regional.

–FUN Friday, Aug. 6, 6 – 9 pm: Back 2 School Bash at Veterans Park with Teen
Bands, Giant Games, Food Trucks and free school supplies.
