STRICKLAND

Howard Cole Strickland, 46, of Cornelius, died August 14, 2015. He is the son of Brooks and Patricia Matthews and the late Worthy Edward Strickland, M.D. He was born in Greenville, SC on July 20, 1969. Cole served in the US Marines.

Survivors include his parents, Brooks and Patricia Matthews; daughter, Caitlin, and siblings, Worthy “Wes” Edward Strickland, Jr., Shannon Elizabeth Strickland, Brooks C. Matthews, III, Amy Strickland Kinnas and Edward Troy Strickland.

A reception will be held in his honor on Thursday, August 20 from 3:00-4:30 P.M. in the Community Room of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC.
