Nov. 22. The Hough High School men’s and women’s lacrosse teams are holding a series of clinics next month to help introduce the sport to younger players and get experienced players ready to play at the high school level.
The clinics are open to children in Kindergarten through 8th grade—all school affiliations are welcome—and will be run by Hough coaches and varsity players.
Parents can sign their children up for one or multiple clinics beginning Dec. 4 at Hough High School.
The Hough men’s team is led by head coach Adam Olmstead and the women’s team is led by head coach Danielle Sheridan. The men’s team has made deep playoff runs in each of the last nine years, including a state championship appearance in 2021, and the upstart girls program has made the playoffs for three straight years.

“The sport of lacrosse is growing like crazy at the nationwide level and has seen massive growth in our community over the last 10 years,” said Olmstead. “Lacrosse is an amazing sport for high energy kids that love to run around. It’s a great sport to start young but unlike some activities it’s also a great sport to pick up at a later age because there are positions on the field geared toward all levels of ability and athleticism.”
