March 19. [UPDATED] Spring has sprung: Cornelius Parks & Recreation will hold Hop Into Spring this Saturday at James Hoyt Wilhelm Park behind Cornelius Elementary, starting at 2 pm and ending at 4. Of course, Peter Cottontail and his best duck friend will be there.

Update: The event has been moved inside due to rain.

2 pm – Event begins

2:15 pm – Ages 3-4 Egg Scramble

2:45 pm – Ages 5-6 Egg Scramble

3:15 pm – Ages 7-8 Egg Scramble

3:45 pm – Ages 9-10 Egg Scramble

4 pm – Event concludes

Activities

Free activities include arts and crafts, live music, face painting, a glitter tattoo artist, inflatables and games, as well as various local vendors.

The event is designed for children ages 3-10 and their families. The Easter egg scramble requires registration as space is limited. The scramble is free for Cornelius residents; $3 for non-residents.
