Aug. 15. There’s another Heat Advisory issued for today by the National Weather Service. Heat indices are expected to exceed 100 before showers and thunderstorms arrive later this afternoon; chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

The National Weather Service reminds us to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
