Oct. 25. The 2nd Annual Halloween Treat Trail will be held 5:30-10 pm Saturday, Oct. 29, at Bailey Road Park.
The treat trail is designed for children ages 2-12 and their families. Participants should dress up in their costumes to collect pre-packaged candy from local businesses along the trail.
Though the event is free to attend, all children must register in advance for trick-or-treating, because space is limited. The earliest time slots are filled.
When registering, choose one (1) of the available 30-minute timeslots: 6:30-7 p.m., or 7-7:30 p.m. To register or for more information, visit www.cornelius.org/pr or call 704-892-6031.
Other activities include a tractor-pulled hayride, a variety of crafts and activities, a spook-tacular photo area, a pumpkin/gourd slingshot launcher, and games. Bam’s Burger Shack and Funnel Cakes by Pam will be available for purchase.
About 7:30 pm, the town will be showing the movie “Hotel Transylvania;” chairs and blankets are encouraged to enjoy the movie.
Parking will be available in the paved parking lot for the baseball fields and tennis courts, as well as the grass area near the basketball courts.
