The Town of Cornelius Police Department and Cornelius-Lemley Fire & Rescue will meet on the ballfield for a Guns & Hoses Charity Softball Game Saturday, July 30. The event at Bailey Road Park starts at 11 am. Proceeds will benefit the Cornelius 9/11 Monument.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 11 am with Cornelius resident Hailey Vogel singing the National Anthem. Charlotte Radio personalities Ace & TJ from Channel 96.1 will also be joining in the game and playing with both the police and fire departments. There will be food trucks, local breweries, raffle items and t-shirts for sale.
