Gov. Stein: State of emergency

Feb. 19. NC Gov. Josh Stein declared a state of emergency ahead of winter weather today which will impact the majority of the state. AccuWeather is calling for snow off and on starting around 10 am, with a wintry mix from 3 pm into the evening. Thursday will be colder, with a daytime high of 36 and nighttime low of 18. Some weather forecasters say snow showers could pass through the Charlotte area early Thursday.
