April 18. The annual Earth Day Celebration will be held Saturday at Robbins Park. Hosted by Cornelius PARC, Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists and North Carolina Forest Service, the event will feature free “green” activities including crafts, demonstrations, nature walks and a scavenger hunt.

North Carolina Forest Service and University Turf Management will give away free tree seedlings while supplies last.
