Get ready to Paddy with these St. Patrick’s Day celebrations

March 15-17 | St. Patrick’s Celebration Weekend

Two new beverages will be released; an Irish Red beer and a lime, orange, coconut seltzer. All weekend long you can turn any draft option green on request. The Lucky Clover Food Truck will be serving Irish fare all weekend along with live music. Handcrafted Market CLT will be on site Saturday,

Homemade by Lauren’s holiday themed treats on Sunday and the Connick-Reid Academy of Irish Dance will perform on Monday.

Enjoy an evening full of live music kicking off with the Loch Norman Pipe Band and ending the night with The Hit Men Party Band of Charlotte. Don’t miss the Connick-Reid Academy of Irish Dance as they take the stage with a special traditional performance.

March 8 | St. Practice Day

Irish dancers will perform during the day and the Loch Norman Pipe Band will perform at 6:30pm. There’ll be a Guinness pint glass engraving and Crown Royal tasting at 7 pm.

March 14-17  | St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Extravaganza

The St. Patrick’s Day celebration goes all weekend long with live music from the Ben Gatlin Band, Loch Norman Pipe Band performance, Irish dancers and A LOT of green beer for all! The Harp and Crown menu will also be available.

March 15 | Shake Your Shamrock 5K

The St. Patrick’s Day celebration starts with a 5K in the morning. Register early to guarantee a spot and swag. Then enjoy Irish jams from the Townley Road Band, Connick-Reid Academy of Irish Dance, a car show and three food trucks. Make a difference with the Cool Kids Clubhouse fundraiser all day.

March 15-16 | St. Patrick’s Day  Celebration and 5K

Start Saturday morning with the Half Pint Fun Run at 9:30 am and the Shillelagh Shuffle 5K at 10 am. Registration is required. Shillelagh Irish Ale will be on tap along with live music and food trucks both days. Show off your St. Paddy’s Day spirit for a chance to win festive prizes in the costume contest. The festivities continue on Sunday with live music starting at 1:30 pm.

March 15-16 | St. Paddy’s Day Weekend Block Party

The 4th annual celebration takes place in the heart of the LKN Social District. Expect even more live music than last year, food trucks, green beer and cocktails. The OTPH patio will be rockin’ all weekend with outdoor games and the return of the Luck ‘O The Irish Vendor Village. Stop by The Coffeeshop to fuel up before heading to the celebration.

March 15 | Irish Karaoke

Get your set of “bag”pipes ready for an Irish karaoke night. On Saturday and Sunday during the day Irish dancers will perform. Starting on Friday March 14 and continuing the whole weekend there will be an extra Guinness line so the wait time for a Guinness is kept to a minimal.

The Color Me Green 5K Trail Run starts at 9 am. At 1 pm watch as the Whitewater Center’s resident leprechaun transforms the river green for St Patrick’s Day. Enjoy a day of rafting down the river, listening to live music, yoga and more.
