A community staple, Old Town Public House doubles both as a pub and a coffee shop, as well as hosting community events like live music and trivia, that are soon to re-start. With an array of both hot and cold coffee brews, as well as snacks like bagels and pastries, OTPH is the place to visit for a local community bite and brew. A classic go-to for coffee, teas, or bites to eat, there’s an array of Starbucks nearby, ranging from inside the Harris Teeter off of Jetton, within Birkdale Village, or their new storefront off of Catawba, right by I-77. Try their iced tea-lemonades, or their macchiatos, either hot or cold. Currently available for dine-in, mobile-order, curbside pick-up, and drive-thru (some locations). Summit Coffee is the place to enter when strolling down Davidson mainstreet on a hot summer’s day. From classic drip coffees to iced chai lattes, Summit has and can do it all. Try out their snacks too, ranging from granolas to cookies. Currently open for dine-in, takeout, and mobile order pick up outside the store. Summit Coffee 128 S. Main St. in Davidson.
A community staple, Waterbean has everything from macaroons to bubble tea. Located off of Jetton and Catawba, go-to drinks include their famous iced coffee, iced frappes, and a variety of smoothies. When visiting, don’t forget a delicious pastry or macaroon, choosing from a wide variety of flavors. Currently open for dine-in, and call-ahead take out.
