Dec. 12. A fire in a 9,000 square foot home on Bustle Road was brought under control in 60 minutes by firefighters from Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson and Mount Mourne. The fire started around 7:30 pm in the basement of a home in the 19000 block Bustle, which property records show is owned by Lisa and Patrick Hosmann. The lakefront home was taped off with yellow emergency tape this morning and a no trespassing sign was on the front entry. No firefighters were injured.
