Sept. 4. The Full Bloom Film Festival will bring 80 filmmakers from around the world to downtown Statesville Sept. 5-7. There’s a wide variety of events all weekend, including a screening of Statesville native Ross McElwee’s film “Bright Leaves” followed by a Q&A session. The festival’s grand finale will be a red carpet screening of The Keeper directed by Angus Benfield and Kendall Bryant Jr.
