Evelyn L. Cockey, 82, of Huntersville, NC, formerly of Surfside Beach, SC died February 17, 2015. She was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Leslie and Ethel Beebe.

Survivors include her husband R. Lee; son, Robert; daughter, Janene Crawford; sister, Betty Ann Dansberger; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her sons Ricky and Michael preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM on Feb. 28th at Surfside Beach U.M.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Surfside Beach U.M.C. 800 13th Ave. N. Surfside Beach, SC 29575.
