Nov. 28. The Dive Bar Cornelius officially opened its doors on Nov. 7 making it the second location in the Lake Norman area. The arcade bar is located in the former Hideaway LKN space in Shops on the Green. 20910 Torrence Chapel Rd, Unit D7.
Much like the Mooresville location, expect plenty of fun and games and nostalgia. Pinball Wizards and Buck Hunters can enjoy cold beer while topping the leader boards but make sure to leave the kids at home because this location is 21 and over. (insert photo of kids face pressed against glass, “Looks like they’re having a good time in there.”)
The Cornelius location features dart boards, pinball, basketball and a claw machine full of mushrooms and rubber duckies.
Full-service bar, beers
Dive Bar offers a full-service bar with plenty of domestic and craft beer options. There’s a special pilsner on tap called Dive Beer Lite. It was created by Denver’s Royal Bliss Brewing and is exclusive to Dive Bar locations.
They offer a limited food menu but I don’t think the cuisine is the draw here… although, who doesn’t love Dino Nugs?
