Dive Bar opens Nov. 7

Oct. 16. Dive Bar North Carolina, a popular chain of arcade bars with locations currently in Mooresville and Hickory, will open in November in the former Hideaway LKN bar in Shops on the Green. According to an Oct. 14 Facebook post “The Hideaway will remain The Hideaway until October 30th, and then it will close until November 7th when it reopens as Dive Bar Cornelius.”

Dive Bars feature a variety of games including darts, Jet Pong, pinball and Guitar Hero as well as photo booths.

“We’ve created a space where people can come to relax, have fun, and enjoy good food and drinks in a casual and unpretentious setting,” said Rob Grosskopf, co-owner. “We want to be a place where people can come to unwind and have a good time…without kids.”
