Discover, create, and innovate with hands-on activities at STEAMfest 2025

March 18. STEAMfest 2025 is the region’s largest interactive festival celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

The free event is Sunday, April 6 from 12 pm to 4 pm at Woodlawn School in Mooresville.

An introduction to robotics

Now in its fifth year, the family-friendly event includes over 100 STEM and art activities for children of all ages created by teachers, students, local universities, museums and community organizations.

“STEAMfest is all about sparking curiosity and inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, artists, and problem solvers,” said Lee Blakely, STEAMfest Coordinator. “With interactive exhibits, engaging activities, and expert presenters, we’re creating an unforgettable experience for families, students, and lifelong learners.”

Since its inaugural event, in 2020, STEAMfest has grown into North Carolina’s largest STEM and Arts festival, attracting thousands of visitors from across the region.
