Davidson Historical Society reorganizing meeting is April 12

April 8. The Davidson Historical Society (DHS) is getting ready for a comeback after a several-year COVID absence.

David Boraks, president of the DHS Reorganizing Committee, says the group is planning a fresh schedule of programs, tours and other activities to celebrate and preserve the history of Davidson.

There will be a general meeting to kick off the reorganization on April 12, at 3 pm in Room 120 at the Davidson Town Hall and Community Center.

Background

The Davidson Historical Society was founded in 1991 to promote the history of Davidson and the area. So much has changed since then, not the least of which is the rapid growth that has brought thousands of new residents.
