April 4. Sure sign of spring: Tomorrow is the start the of 17th season of the Davidson Farmers Market.

The market will be open rain or shine 9 am to noon Saturday, April 5, every Saturday through Thanksgiving. No pets allowed.

But there’s music: Mayor Rusty Knox will kick off prime market season with a set from 9 am to noon.

At 10 am the Davidson Nuances, an a cappella group from Davidson College will join the mayor on the stage.
