Aug. 24. David Farley is the new principal at William Amos Hough High. He has been the assistant principal since 2018 and dean of students from 2016 to 2018 at Hough High.

Farley, who was an instructional accountability facilitator at North Mecklenburg High from 2015 to 2016 and a teacher at Harding University High from 2013 to 2015, replaces Dr. Laura Rosenbach who became the executive director for the Central 1 Learning Community.

She had been principal at Hough since 2013 and was previously principal at Bradley Middle from 2010 to 2013.

Farley has a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in education from the State University of New York at Oswego.
