May 11. The Cornelius Jazz Fest on Saturday, May 22, includes performances by Dante Lewis as well as the Eli Yacinthe Band. The in-person event, which runs from 5 pm to 8 pm, is free. There will be food trucks and beverage vendors, but COVID-19 regulations will apply including social distancing.

Attendees must pre-register.

The Cornelius PARC Dept. and the Smithville CommUNITY Coalition are putting on the event at Smithville Park. The sponsor is Lake Norman Realty
