Hospitalizations are at 485 statewide, down by half since the beginning of May.

Mecklenburg County

Between Wednesday and today in Mecklenburg County, there were 47 new coronavirus cases reported, but no new deaths since Friday. The positivity rate is 2 percent.

North Mecklenburg (change from Tuesday to Wednesday)

Cornelius: 2 new cases, 2,887 cumulative; 25 deaths total.

Davidson: 3 new cases, 1,698 cumulative; 15 deaths total.

Huntersville: 17 new cases, 6,069 cumulative; 53 deaths total.
