Feb. 19 The Cornelius Parks & Recreation Department will open registration to Cornelius residents for their 2024 summer camps at 7 am Friday, March 1. Registration will open to the general public one week later.

Camp offerings include half-day sports camps for ages 6-14, mini sports camps for ages 4-6, and half-day recreation camps held in various parks and other locations throughout Cornelius. Full-day camps are also returning with increased capacity.

What’s new 

New this summer, the full-day camp program has expanded to two locations: ages 6-7 will attend camp at JV Washam Recreation Center, and ages 8-12 will attend camp at Bailey Road Recreation Center.

For full-day camp, 6 year old’s must have completed Kindergarten.
