Sweet treats for Ada Jenkins
Feb. 1. February is the month of love, right? So the Ada Jenkins Center has a plan to help everyone prepare a little something sweet for someone sweet. Through Feb. 11, local chefs and home cooks are competing with awesome recipes in the “Confections for Good” competition: bit.ly/SweetsForTheSweet
Votes are $5 each and benefit families in Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville who are facing economic, employment, and food insecurity.

Chef Nora Barger makes an amazing chocolate tart
All proceeds benefit the Ada Jenkins Center.
The competition includes three categories: desserts, non-alcoholic drinks, and cocktails.
Two winners will be selected: the chef/home cook/recipe that receives the most votes; and the chef/home cook who receives the most donations.
There’s still time to enter; register at bit.ly/AJCConfectionsforGood_participants.
