June  11. The Davidson Police Department will host the sixth annual Cone with a Cop event on Saturday, June 15, between 11 am and 1 pm. Get a frozen vanilla or chocolate custard at Whit’s Frozen Custard, 428 S. Main Street. The event focuses on safety for children and families through interactive and educational activities. Davidson youth can learn how to handle encounters with strangers and the proper way to cross the street from the Davidson Fire and Police Departments. Emergency Medical Services will be on hand as well.
