“Connecting Cornelius,​”​ a regular monthly ​discussion over coffee with Mayor Washam and town commissioners, will be Monday at Harvey’s in Cornelius, starting at 8:30 am.
Th​e conversation this month focuses on ​an anticipated $25 ​m​illion for major road projects. Coffee will be provided, and breakfast may be purchased. “Stay informed, ask questions, and get to know your elected officials. Drop us a note if you have topics you would like to see addressed at a future event​,” Washam says.​ If you can’t make it, another session will be held Thursday, March 22 at Town Hall ​6:30 pm to 7:30
