CMS closing Tuesday due to after-effects of winter storm

Jan. 17. CMS schools will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 18, due to dangerous road conditions caused by the winter storm. A make-up day is scheduled for Feb. 21.

The end-of-course and end-of-grade testing make-up day will be announced later and communicated with students and families.

Many roads, especially secondary roads, remain covered in snow and ice, and remain dangerous, CMS said in a press release.
