Jan. 20. Charlotte Restaurant Week is back with five North Meck eateries joining in. Running now through Sunday, Jan. 29, the promotion offers three-course, prix fixe dining deals ranging from $30 to $45 per person.
A total of 87 restaurants around the metro area are participating. The restaurants in North Meck are:
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill – Birkdale Landing
Hunter House, Circa 1913 – Huntersville
Peninsula Prime – Cornelius
Port City Club – Cornelius
Red Rocks Cafe – Birkdale Village
The Waterman Lake Norman – Cornelius
“As so many people continue to move into the Charlotte metro area, this is a prime opportunity for them to check out restaurant offerings in their new town or neighborhood,” said Bruce Hensley, a partner in Hensley Fontana Public Relations, which owns and operates the promotion.

Charlotte Restaurant Week, also known as the Queen’s Feast, was launched in 2008 so that restaurants could showcase their offerings to diners through a prix fixe meal deal every January and July.
