April 24. Central Piedmont Community College is launching a new associate-degree program in artificial technology with the start of the 2024 fall semester. The AI program will cover machine learning, chatbots and generative AI, chatbot programming, artificial intelligence programming, system analysis and design, and AI applications in various industries.
Given the ever-changing technology landscape, the two-year program is a natural for Charlotte. Graduates will be qualified for entry-level positions in AI, including AI engineer, AI project manager, AI researcher, AI architect and machine learning specialist. Applicable industries include banking and finance, engineering, manufacturing, transportation and logistics and healthcare.
