Oct. 6. The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) has added a new afternoon bus to its popular North Mecklenburg Express Route 77x, which will leave Charlotte at 3:20 pm weekdays. This is the bus route which serves the Cornelius Park and Ride lot on Jetton Road Extension/Sefton Road.

The change follows customer survey results whereby many riders expressed a need for an earlier afternoon trip from Uptown Charlotte back to their respective Park and Rides in northern Mecklenburg County, in order to accommodate  needs such as childcare, as well as modified work schedules.
