Oct. 1. The North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund is now accepting online contributions for hurricane damage. Contributions help with the unmet needs of hurricane victims. The United Way of North Carolina is the fiscal agent for the fund. Click here to make a secure contribution.  

Emergency supplies can be taken to Temple Kol Tikvah

Oct. 1. Cornelius residents Andrea and Howie Kaplan are organizing a supply drive at Temple Kol Tikvah in Davidson, 605 South Street, for Operation Airdrop which flies in supplies to communities in desperate need. Items can be dropped off from 10 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm Tuesday.
