Prayer Vigil on Davidson Village Green Sept. 20

Days after the violence in Charlottesville, Va. last year, the Confederate soldiers’ monument on Zion Avenue was vandalized. Joel Simpson, the former associate pastor at Mt. Zion United Methodist, organized a prayer vigil on the Davidson Village Green. There will be a second prayer vigil on the Green in Davidson at 7 p.m. Sept. 20.
