Santa does snail mail through Dec. 13

Santa’s Mailbox is open for business starting Dec. 2 at the Cornelius Art Center’s special Mailbox to the North Pole. The man in red will respond, if your child’s letter includes a self-addressed and stamped envelope. Santa is too busy to respond after Dec. 13, so get those Dear Santa letters in ASAP!

Cocoa With Santa Dec. 6

Drop in with the youngsters to the Cornelius Arts Center Friday, Dec. 6 for cocoa, cookies and crafts with Santa from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring a camera because Santa will pose for photos. No registration necessary and it’s free.

Christmas concert Dec. 7 benefits Warrior Jace Foundation

Heaven’s Reign, a gospel quartet,  will hold a Christmas Concert to benefit the Warrior Jace Foundation Dec. 7 at 6 pm at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Cornelius. All proceeds will go toward Pediatric Cancer. Doors open at 5. There is no charge for admission but all donations will go toward the cause.

Santa Paws in the Park is today!

Nov. 16. Santa Paws in the Park takes place noon to 2 pm today in Robbins Park. The event is all about dogs and their people, with photos with Santa, unique dog gifts and a guided hike along some of the scenic park trails. Admission is free, as is parking.

Guns ‘N’ Hoses Nov. 2
