Boutique, silent auction Nov. 3 benefit preschool

Oct. 31. The Cornelius Early Scholar’s Benefit Boutique, featuring jewelry, accessories and decor, will be held 1 pm to 7 pm this Friday in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church of Cornelius, 21007 Catawba Ave. All proceeds benefit Cornelius Early Scholars preschool.

Community Thanksgiving service will be Nov. 19

Save the date: The traditional multi-church Community Thanksgiving service will be held Sunday Nov. 19 at the Cain Center for the Arts at 6 pm. The “Give Thanks LKN” event includes a community choir comprised of  11 participating churches. Those who attend are asked to bring canned goods.
