The Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation’s annual fall clean-up is Saturday, Oct. 10. Check-in begins at 8 am; the event runs until noon. There are two meeting/boat access sites: Pinnacle Access Area at the Hwy. 150 bridge in Mooresville, and Beatty’s Ford Park in Denver.
The foundation is asking boat captains and all other volunteers to fill out an online form. Boat captains should indicate how many people they can carry on their boats. On-site coordinators will direct volunteers and boat captains to various islands and locations to go to. Volunteers will receive clean-up supplies.
Each boat captain will be entered into a raffle to receive Panthers tickets. More info: www.CatawbaRiverkeeper.org
