Jan. 31. Mecklenburg County Parks & Recreation has temporarily closed four of the six boat ramps at Blythe Landing Park because of the low lake level.

The 24-acre park at 15901 NC 73 in Cornelius, has a beach, picnic areas, sand volleyball courts and a playground. There is no swimming at the beach.

The floating piers for boat launching may be used weekends and holidays only March 1- Oct. 31, according to the county website.
