Sept. 21. Bethel Presbyterian Church is holding its 22nd annual BBQ event on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. It’s a Cornelius tradition.

The event will take place at the church, 19920 Bethel Church Road. It will include a silent auction and a baked goods and handmade quilt sale to benefit the Barium Springs Children’s Hope Alliance.

Drive-thru, eat-in and carry-out options are available.

A barbecue plate or three sandwiches with slaw are $9, and one pound of barbecue will be $12.
