Chase branch on West Catawba

April 1. Historic Preservation has declared the Chase Bank at the corner of Jetton and West Catawba a “culturally significant” historic landmark. The imposing one-story edifice has been the scene of financial transactions, large and small. The one-story brick and masonry structure, “with a distinctive flat roof, two entries, and large see-through windows,” retains its original interior.
