The Cornelius Arts Center will host a community conversation Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 7 pm at First Baptist Church. Cornelius residents who live on the east side of town are encouraged to attend. In the coming weeks there will be more input meetings that will target additional areas. During Tuesday’s meeting, Executive Director Justin Dionne will give a 15-20 minute presentation about the Cornelius Arts Center, which will be built just west of the Police Station. Will Washam, the town’s senior planner, will be on hand to answer questions on other town center development projects. Members of CAC’s Advisory Board will also be in attendance. After the presentation, participants are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback.
