April 1. How do we visualize art? Through our eyes—or equally through our bodies? The inscrutable nature of art is examined in a participatory “un-exhibit” April 5. The show begins with blank canvases eight feet tall by 32 feet wide where art-minded thought leaders roll themselves—fully clothed, of course—along and over the canvas while covered in a Sherwin Williams “Color of the Year” going back to the year 2000. Presented at the Troutman Museum in 2022-2023, the installation aims to create a space where people can gather, talk and roll themselves in paint.
