“Home Grown,” a local art showcase, opens Friday Feb. 12 with a reception 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Cornelius Arts Center. The exhibit features the works of local artists in all mediums and all ages and levels, including paintings, pottery, photography, collage and sculpture. Meet the artists during the opening reception, sponsored by Cornelius Today. The Artist Talk starts at 7 pm. The Cornelius Arts Center is behind the Police Station in the Oak Street Mill, 19725 Oak St.
