Jan. 24. Northwood Ravin’s plans for four multi-family apartment buildings as part of the Greenway Gartens project—on the future South Street Extension—come before the Architectural Review Board Friday for review and recommendations on proposed building elevations.
Northwood Raven will be presenting their proposed multifamily building design to the ARB for actual approval. Once they receive ARB approval, they will fully design the buildings for construction permitting.
It means the project, approved by a prior Town Board, is much closer to coming out of the ground.
Northwood Ravin is working with Olde Mecklenburg Brewery to bring a new location to the site just north of downtown Cornelius.
Background
OMB initially purchased the 24-acre site on Zion Avenue for a brewery and biergarten. But revised plans have OMB occupying 2.5 acres, with Northwood Ravin doing a mixed-used development with apartments, townhomes and additional commercial space.
The Architectural Review Board meets at noon Friday in Town Hall.
