American Legion Post 86 in Cornelius will host their 12th Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the Mallard Head Golf Course in Mooresville.

The post’s principal fundraiser supports Legion programs, such as Boy’s State sponsorships and Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies at the Cornelius Veterans Monument.

The entry fee for this captain’s choice event is $340 per team, or $85 per player. Included are green fees, cart, lunch and prizes.

Check-in and lunch begin at 11 am; the shotgun start is at 1 pm. In addition to players, Post 86 is also seeking hole sponsors, corporate sponsors, and door prizes for the event.

The deadline for sponsorships is Wednesday, Oct. 2, and Friday, Oct. 4 for player/team entries. For details and entry forms, please visit our website at www.corneliuslegion.org.
