Van Order

Doris Mills Van Order, 84, of The Pines at Davidson, died around 6:00 P.M. on February 6, 2015 in the Schramm Health Center.

She was born on August 23, 1930 in Spartanburg, SC to the late John Walter Mills and Nettie Frances Sawyer Mills.

Survivors include her husband John Albert Van Order of Davidson; son, John Douglas Van Order of Mobile, AL; granddaughters, Carley and Emilee of Mobile, AL; sisters, Mrs. Horace Odom of Spartanburg, SC, Ms. James Gency of Cleveland, OH; niece, Debora Cabiness of Moore, SC; nephews, Donald Cabiness of Spartanburg, SC and Ronald Cabiness of Woodruff, SC.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake Norman, 705 Griffith St., Suite 203, Davidson, NC 28036.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 PM Saturday, February 14 in the Living Room at The Pines at Davidson.
