There are cancellations and postponements because of the inclement weather expected Saturday. Pawz Too Run has been cancelled, according to organizer Patrice Reynolds, head of Friends of the Animals says. Also the Cornelius Police Department’s Document Shredding has been moved to Saturday, Nov. 12, 9 am to noon. The Davidson Farmer’s Market is cancelled too, says Abby Wyatt, the Cornelius resident who runs it. An Oktoberfest at The Shoppes at Heart & Home has been cancelled, but the shops will be open 11 am to  5 pm with refreshments inside and a one day sale at David Wysor Fine Jewelry. The National Weather Service says we should expect up to an inch rain tonight, but then it gets interesting tomorrow: “Showers, mainly before noon. Areas of fog before noon. High near 72. North northeast wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.”
